Repairs

The church was originally built in 1857 and is now in need of a lot of care and attention. The church Board would like to undertake a major renovation programme to bring the building up to scratch and functionality for the 21st century. We know that a lot of people would use the building more if it was more modern and less dilapidated.

The church Board is discussing the programme and we would like to see the following;

Church Sanctuary; The sanctuary needs to be redesigned with the windows repaired and the roof replaced along with the guttering.
Garden: We would like to install seating and pave the lower grass area. The NYI are looking into the creation of a History wall portraying the history of Ardrossan.
Hall and kitchen: The toilets need to be up-graded for disability legislation, including all of the entrances. The kitchen needs to be completed and meet current legislation to be able to prepare food and drinks. Hall: This needs windows and heating installed, along with new lighting.
